Two Girls at Camp

In the St. Louis region, SSM Health Hospice & Home Health Foundation exists to help fulfill our Mission of providing exceptional health care and revealing God’s healing presence to the people we serve. We do this not only by providing a financial safety net for our most vulnerable patients and families in St. Louis and St. Charles, but by providing an emotional safety net as well.

Our patient programs in St. Louis and St. Charles include:

Patient and Family Emergency Assistance (The Dr. Robert Kingsbury Patient and Family Emergency Assistance Fund) – helps qualified patients with expenses to maintain quality of life, such as rent and mortgage payments, utility payments, and more.

Camp MAGIC – a children’s bereavement program designed to help children work through their grief after experiencing the loss of a loved one.

Comfort Touch Massage Therapy – a complimentary massage therapy that is available to hospice patients to promote relief from pain.

SSM My Legacy – gives hospice patients the opportunity to preserve their memories and stories through video Life Reviews and photos.

Memories That Last – helps make our hospice patients’ last wishes come true.

Peaceful Moments – provides a reassuring presence to patients and families or to patients who would otherwise be alone in their final hours of life.

Rehabilitative Therapies Fund (The Vicki Horst Memorial Rehabilitation Fund) – funds services not supported by government or commercial pay for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
